As a local chapter of the worldwide children's service organization, Kiwanis International, the Kiwanis Club of Kansas City Kansas was founded in 1921 and is the 17th oldest of the 8,000+ Kiwanis clubs in over 100 countries. Its mission is to serve underprivileged youth in Kansas City, Kansas. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world on child and one community at a time.
